The Sustainable Tourism initiative is one of the flagship programs launched by Saudi Youth for Sustainability SYS for 2026 and aims to empower Saudi youth by providing sustainable job opportunities in the ecotourism sector while contributing to the preservation of the Kingdoms natural and cultural heritage With a proposed budget of 800000 SAR the program will operate in three main regions the North the South and the Eastern Region Al Ahsa and aims to train over 150 young people and facilitate the creation of more than 50 sustainable jobs within the first year The initiative will be implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism local communities and the private sector with the goal of creating a scalable model for community based ecotourism in line with Saudis Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative
